When I was training hard for a marathon a number of years ago, I asked three different coaches for some guidance on a specific aspect of my training. Two of them were top international runners and renowned coaches and the other was the legendary and wise Bruce Tulloh (if you don’t know who he is, look him up). One of the coaches said I should definitely do X and the other advised me to definitely do Y. So I then asked Bruce Tulloh. 


 

THE BERGHAUS DRAGON'S BACK RACE- RESULTS

Congratulations to Jonathan Sangster who has completed the Dragons back race in 60 hours, 53 minutes, 27 seconds. Paul and Brenda Sedgwick pass on their congratulations who watched Jonathan finish on the live stream, take a look at the live feed.

RACE REPORT Tuesday 21st May 2019

BURNDEN’S Gwen Kinloch followed up her victory in the Blacksticks Blue 10K the week before by winning the Pilling 10K women’s race.
Gwen won in 41mins 52secs as Burnden claimed a 1,2 in the race with Sarah Watton second and 1st F Senior in 43:32.


RACE REPORT

BURNDEN’S Gwen Kinloch won the women’s race at the Blacksticks Blue 10K road race in Preston. Gwen crossed the line in 43:10, with Liz McLellan second and 1st F45 in 43:52 close behind. 


RACE REPORT Tuesday 7th May 2019

BURNDEN’S Anne Ferguson picked up two victories over the Bank Holiday weekend.
She was 1st F60 at the 18K Kentmere Trail Race at Staveley, in the Lake District, in 1hr 40mins 55 secs and followed that up on Monday with the age group prize at the Joe’s Cup Hill Race at Brinscall, Chorley.
