Volunteers

Burnden Road Runners are always in need of volunteers for our events and also support other events in the community, below you will find details on all the volunteering opportunities in the coming year.

The race director team are beginning to look towards 2025 race calendar and the planning of how the club can support local community events along side our annual Trotters race.

With that in mind, we are looking for volunteers to help with the events below.

Volunteer for 2026 

  • Course set up Course set up leader + 5 additional volunteers( this is an early start, but volunteers will be able to run.

  • Car Park 2 marshals

  • Registration 4 volunteers ( registration closes 10/15 minutes before the start so you will still be able to enter the race)

  • Marshall points  - this allows us to have two marshals per marshal point.
