Whether you're a new member, a seasoned runner or you're thinking of joining Burnden we encourage all our runners to take part in races, and experience the atmosphere & satisfaction that races bring.
Anyone can race for Burnden and many of our New Beginners group have already taken part in their first races.
For Central Lancs. Grand Prix races a Burnden vest is required.
As a member of Burnden you are registered with England Athletics which gives you discounted entry to most races.

The 2024 season at Burnden is full of exciting races chosen by our race captains.
The club championship and fell championship each have 13 races to choose from and you need to complete 7 to qualify.
The Central Lancs Grand Prix has 12 races to choose and 8 to count.
