SWIM, SWIM, SWIM – THREE BRRS TAKE A DIP

A trio of Burnden water babies took a dive this weekend as they completed the first of the Triple Crown series – the Lake Coniston End to End.

This 5.25 mile watery adventure was had by Steve Riddle, Alyson Cullen and Kath Berry – no strangers to the fun and challenge of open water swimming and all strong in the sport.

Steve was first out of the water in 2:31:03 – placing 5th in a strong age category of 60-64. He was followed by Alyson Cullen who flipped her fins to the finish in 4:52:02 and Kath Berry splashed across the line in 5:26:12.
