Challenge Roth is one of the most iconic and beloved long-distance triathlon races in the world, held annually in Roth, Germany. Known for its electric atmosphere and exceptional community support, the event features a gruelling course: a 3.8 km swim in the Main-Danube Canal, a 180 km bike ride through the scenic Bavarian countryside, and a 42.2 km marathon run that winds through towns filled with cheering spectators. While it follows the same distance as an Ironman, Challenge Roth is part of the independent Challenge Family race series, and it has carved out its own legendary status in the triathlon world.

Matt came in 399th in the Male race and an eye watering time of 9:46:08 (Swim 58:28 Bike 4:51:39 Run 3:51:41).”
