CLASSIC CULLEN COMPLETES THE SET

The London Classics medal is awarded to participants who complete three specific events – the London Marathon (anytime since 1981), the RideLondon 100 (substituted for the Etape Loch Ness in 2025) and the Swim Serpentine two mile swim.

By completing all three events in any order and over any time period, participants qualify for the impressive and weighty silver medal engraved with the phrase ‘Et ego Londinium vici’, which means ‘I too have conquered London’ in Latin.

Burndener Martin Cullen completed his dream this weekend by travelling to Inverness to complete the Etape Loch Ness which replaced the cancelled Ride London. With 900m of ascent and a 4.8 mile climb reaching a gradient of 12% and a total of 66 miles, this is one tough ride. Martin completed the sportive

in a superb 4:40:48.
