The Bees were back in town this week with two new Queens, Sarah Brown and Jennifer Entwistle, to run the Hive as Burnden’s Couch to 5K took off. Well done to all of our new Bees!
Run Leader, Sarah Brown, summarises the success of Week 1.
“We were delighted to welcome a full group of 15 enthusiastic Couch to 5k attendees, made up of new faces and a few familiar ones. As explained to the group, throwing and catching a beanbag has nothing at all to do with running ability.. but it did provide a fun way to introduce ourselves and start to warm-up! We completed Week 1 out of 9, with lots of smiles and promises to return next week! Congratulations to all!”
