With a mix of closed roads, live entertainment and fancy bling, the Wigan Running Festival is a popular choice and raises thousands of pounds for the Joining Jack charity. A soggy day saw the Marland family attend the Festival at Mesnes Park along with over 1,000 runners. Ally and Simon took on the Half Marathon distance while Sue opted for the 5K.
