This took place in the heart of the UK’s capital, the race featured a 100km distance format, combining a 2km swim in the River Thames, an 80km bike ride through iconic London landmarks, and an 18km run along the city's vibrant streets. As part of the prestigious T100 Triathlon World Tour, London hosted elite professional athletes and passionate amateurs alike, creating an electric atmosphere for both participants and spectators. With its flat, fast course and world-class organisation, the event delivered a thrilling competition and personal best performances.
Lyall performed admirably in a competitive wave swim, followed by a fast and challenging Bike and Run leg. Swim 1:02:38 / Bike 2:36:16 / Run 1:54:37”
SWIM, STEVE, SWIM!
Coach Steve Riddle was in the water this week and flippered up a fantastic time for the Epic Events 5K Swim at Windermere. With perfect weather conditions and amazing shoals of fish, this swim saw Steve at the shore in a water-iffic time of 1:26:06 - placing 3rd in his age group.
