Sarah Woodiwiss took on the mammoth challenge of the Olympic Distance Chester Deva Triathlon this week. Comprising a 40K cycle in the wind, a choppy 1500 metre swim in the River Dee and the 10K run is three laps of riverside paths, local minor roads and two bridges – the Old Dee Bridge and suspension bridge.
Sarah finished the epic Tri challenge in 3:26:00 – beating last year’s time by 6 minutes and achieving 8th in her age group.
