Euro Cross Challenge

Held at Liverpool’s Sefton Park.   This entry is new to the league and adds something different.  The Euro Cross Liverpool event is held every year which allows UK elite runners to win a place on the UK cross country team. To make up the numbers two local XC leagues are invited to run in the same race.    This is one of Burnden’s favourite races to be involved in and a must for any avid off-road runner.

Course:  flat, heavy going on the legs

Rewarding:  100%
