1 foot on the track

1 Foot on the Track meets every Wednesday evening at 7pm.

We train on the new running track at Leverhulme Park each week.

 

Training Schedule

5 – 8 x 600m, 200m walk to full recovery.

19th May

 4 – 5 x 1000m, 90 second recovery.

26th May

 Pyramids- 400m, 600m, 800m, 1000m, 800m, 600m, 400m, 60–90 sec recovery

2nd June

 3 – 4 x 1200m, 90 second recovery.

9th June

 4 x 800m, 4 x 400m, 90 sec recovery

16th June

 Out & Back- 4 minutes run in 1 direction, 4 mins to return to start position x 4

23rd June

 4 - 5 x 1000m, 60 second recovery.

30th June

Focused session on drills, running form, strides and easy intervals. **

1st July

Sale Sizzler 5k race

 

* Option to not do Time Trial and do 8 – 10 x 400m, 90 sec recovery

**For people not racing or wishing for a harder session: 5 – 7 x 700m, 100m walk recovery.
