Come and join us at Burnden we train on a Monday evening with sessions every week at 7pm, on Wednesday we have 1 foot on the track at 7pm and on Sunday morning we have our Sunday sMiles group.
The New Beginners have returned every Monday evening at 6pm, our new beginners sessions are completely free, all we ask is that you register on runtogether so we know you are attending, Jen, Shirley and Vicki will then look after you through their 10 week couch to 5k sessions. find our more here

These sessions are for you if you're a beginner runner/jogger, or if you've not run for a while and want a gentle introduction. There is no minimum standard or level experience. Its fine to walk a bit, jog a bit, walk a bit more.As the name suggests, its about helping you get started.

ABOUT TRAINING
Training sessions at Burnden aim to support you in your running by offering a variety of activities each week that will meet your needs, whether you are…
• training for a specific race in the club championship
• seeking a less intensive session, as you recover from a race the day before
• seeking a specific type of session, e.g. hill training or interval training
• new to running
• wanting to build up to a certain distance/achieve a certain pace per mile
• returning to running after an injury
MONDAY
BURNDEN MAIN TRAINING NIGHT
Sessions are available each Monday at 7pm at Smithills Sports Centre (except Bank Holidays), we have sessions available for all abilities, with effort sessions, run sessions, inbetweeners and New Beginners.
The Beginners Group for those who are new to running or returning to running after injury currently training now on a Saturday morning whilst the dark nights have drawn in.
