Hi Everyone,
I've finally managed to get results together for last weekends 30 minute challenge. The category positions have been changing during the week but they seem to have settled down now. As you can see for yourselves we had 15 members take part and register a distance for their 30 minute effort. As you might have guessed beforehand the ladies really showed their commitment and two thirds of the Burnden contingent were female and totaled an impressive 53,109 metres. The 5 men managed a total of 30,793 metres and as a consolation prize had the better average per runner. Our average distance (of our first 12 finishers - that is all that counts) of 5594.02 metres placed us in 7th place overall for the week. -
We have 21 members registered to take part as of today (Thursday), let's see if we can't get a few more (especially men) entered and get some more distance run.

Due to the enhanced lock-down measures in Bolton we have decided to, reluctantly, put on hold for the time being our return to training. Although we have the necessary Covid-19 risk assessments in place, the new limits that have been put in place both nationally and in Bolton especially mean that we will have to wait even longer to get back to what we all love doing - getting out and training with our mates!
