Longer run in pace groups -

For those preparing to do a spring marathon or half marathon.

Please use the links to familiarise yourself with the route before the session.  Although we will aim to include everyone, we will be relying on people to sort themselves into pace groups and will not be providing a back-marker for these runs. If you have any questions or concerns please speak to Jane before we set off.

Training sessions at Burnden aim to support you in your running by offering a variety of activities each week that will meet your needs, whether you are…

• training for a specific race in the club championship

• seeking a less intensive session, as you recover from a race the day before

• seeking a specific type of session, e.g. hill training or interval training

• new to running

• wanting to build up to a certain distance/achieve a certain pace per mile

• returning to running after an injury

Sessions are available each Monday at 7pm at Smithills Sports Centre (except Bank Holidays), The New Starters Group for those who are new to running or returning to running after injury also meet at 7pm. 

There is also a Track session on Weds @ Leverhulme Park at 7pm. All runners welcome. (Adult track session £3.70, Adult Annual Track pass £44.10).
